Water Plants and Water Gardens
-
Adding water plants to your pond is becoming increasingly popular, and the range of plants that you can grow in
water and moist soils has increased dramatically in recent years. In choosing plants be aware of their individual
needs. There are three basic water zones when considering plant selection: bog or marginal water's edge - plants
grown in these areas do not like drying out; shallow water; deep water. This knowledge will help you to grow them
well and maybe even save some water.
We have added several water plants to our koi pond, which was enchanged the overall appearance, gives protection to our koi and generally adds to the overall enjoyment of the pond / koi and surrounding gardens.
Over the next few weeks, we will be adding more detail, so please check back soon.
